On the Flip Side

In my last blog I spoke of the individual's responsibility before God to worship regularly in a local church. Today let's talk about the local church's responsibility before God to minister to the individual. This is the flip side. God commands His people to be faithful in worship attendance, but He commands His church to be faithful to Him and to love one another. We must build up our people not tear them down. We must encourage our people not wear them out. If we are not faithful to God in the way we minister to people, how can we expect people to be faithful to meet regularly for worship with our church? We must do church God's way! Preach the Word - Encourage One Another - Equip the Saints - Love One Another - Confess Your Sins - Forgive One Another - Evangelize the Lost - Exhort One Another
